Theo is a CEO, serial entrepreneur and author. In 1997 he co-founded Kariera, the leading on-line recruitment firm in SE Europe (sold in 2007 to CareerBuilder.com) and in 2006 Group IMI, an Events company in Dubai and S. Arabia (sold to private investors in 2014).
After selling Kariera.gr, he worked with CareerBuilder.com in several senior executive roles, including Regional Director for SE Europe and President of APAC.
Furthermore, Mr. Vasileiadis has been a co-founder or investor in several other companies, in areas such as SaaS and Education, including Socital, an AI and Machine Learning marketing automation startup with operations in London, UK and Athens, GR.
In 2020 he bought back the Greek Business of Kariera, and in 2023 all the non US entities of Careerbuilder, creating Kariera Group, a global HR tech and recruitment business with presence in 10 countries. Theofilos is the CEO of the company, leading a group of 350+ people across Europe and Asia.
In 2000 Mr. Vasileiadis was awarded for excellence in Entrepreneurship by the President of Greece and the Entrepreneur’s Club. Also, in 2011, he was included in the “40 under 40” Global AIESEC alumni publication. Finally, he served as a board member in WLCi College (India), supporting global expansion & strategy.
In parallel with business management, Theofilos participates in Academic
Conferences, TEDx events, as well as media panels as an expert on management & entrepreneurship and has extended experience at teaching Entrepreneurship and Leadership in a series of executive training sessions in Greece, Dubai and India.
Also, in 2023 he published his first book, a guide for startup
entrepreneurs.
He is an Alumnus of Harvard Business School, since graduating from the
Owners/Presidents Management Program (OPM) in 2010 and of Singularity University in Mountain View, CA (Exec. Program 2014).
He is actively involved in several NGOs, primary around issues related to promoting entrepreneurship. In 2019-20, he was the Chairman of YPO in Greece.
