Anastasios Tomtsis
Anastasios is based in Brussels. He advises, and represents before the European Commission and the EU Court in Luxembourg, major corporations and governments on Global/EU merger control, state aid control, FDI, and foreign subsidies matters. Anastasios has extensive experience in the energy, financial services, life sciences, and TMT sectors. He holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School (Fulbright Fellow and Graduate Programme Grantee), a D.E.A. from FU Saint-Louis, Brussels (Onassis Foundation Scholar), and a postgraduate diploma in EU competition law from King’s College, London. He received his law degree summa cum laude valedictorian from Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, with specialisation in EU, International, and Comparative law at Robert Schuman University, Strasbourg. Anastasios is admitted to the Bar in New York, Brussels (E), and Greece (ΔΣΘ). He is ranked in Chambers Global Guide on EU Competition and in Who is Who Competition as a Future Leader.
